Wafer and Stravinsky

So, like, all this boredom
crumbling off my wafer
onto the tiles…
To hell with it!

And there I was thinking of Stravinsky,
even hearing him in my head
between the crunches,

when, surprised, I caught
my reflection in a shop window —
goggling empty eyes
above a half-eaten wafer.
