Translated from the Bulgarian · Прекалено голяма, единствена и сама

These deserts cannot hold you,
nor these empty seas.
Forest animals sniff
at your footprints on a forest path.

Through this world and through other visions,
and in the rivers of thought, you swim.

A spiral of a coloured smile
and a grain of sand on your neck,
and when the wind takes you up,
you are a melting snowball.

And you let us come near you
like a wise animal that knows
when there is danger
and when lush pasture.

Sometimes we are your children,
and at other times unwelcome guests
who leave with a wounded smile,
far away from you,
o Truth.
