Let’s sort things out.
Let’s not squabble
right on the corner of your fury
and of my smile…

Let’s meet there.

In the corner of my smile
and around the corner of your fury

Let’s talk a little about us.
Let’s keep a little quiet about the others.

Let’s sort things out.
Even if we squabble a bit.

Why?
We don’t forgive.
And we don’t forget.

Let’s clink our spoons a little
in a circular motion
inside the round cups.

Let’s look down for a while.
Let’s blame each other a bit.

Let’s comfort each other.
Let’s leave it unsaid

and then say it after all.

Let’s go fishing,
to a philatelic exhibition,
to a philanthropic concert,
even to a philatelic exhibition early in the morning,
to a tropical stone,
on one lame leg,
on the stairs of the entrance hall,
in the foyer of the concert hall,
in the basement of the Market Halls,
on the balcony of Your folks,
in the attic of Our folks,
on the quick,
in slow motion
and on fast forward…

Let’s sort things out.
