Translated from the Bulgarian · Светлината беше тук

and it spilled over you.
Overflowed you.
Faded on you
and murmured in a stream
and electric drops
dripped down your back
caressed your neck
ran through your hair
trickled down to your heels

for your love

but they did not beg for mercy
they murmured shyly
somehow impatiently

and at the speed of light,
equal to zero,

slowly engraved on your shoulder
“The light was here”
