Hello, simplicity,
and you, beauty,
wherever you’ve gone to hide…
I’m going out,
out into the streets,
to look for you,
to shake you
by the hand, by the head

To find you
so we can sing together.

I’m setting off for Svilengrad,
for Durankulak,
for Vidin
and then for Karlovo,
Zlokuchene,
Petrevene
and Shipka,
Nevrokop
and Dulovo…

From Yasna Polyana
to somewhere or other
And always down the dusty road
toward you,
until I find you.

Hello, people!
Greetings, simplicity,
and to you, purity, a “hello”,
wherever you’ve gone to hide…
