Translated from the Bulgarian · Още мъничко само

It’s time to go out and breathe some night vapours.
I’ll grab my crumpled jacket and switch off the room.
Just a little longer.

On the uneven cobbles I’ll clatter as much as I like.
I’ll gape at the dark windows with imagination.
Just a little longer.

I’ll stop to beg on the corner of Alexandrovska and Bogoridi
and then buy lots of loaves and lots of old clothes — for whoever needs them.
Just a little longer.

There, I’m off. On my way. Like a return to the others.
Like an embrace of the others. A little of both.
Just a little longer.
